TAWFIQ ACADEMY
Tawfiq Academy have both weekend and weekday Qur'an and Islamic Study classes for ages 6 through 15. The mission of the Tawfiq Academy is to provide a broad knowledge on Islamic education and teach Islamic concepts/practices in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our Philosophy of Islamic education makes a fundamental distinction between teaching about "Islam" and teaching about "being Muslim." The goal of Islamic education is not to simply fill students’ minds with information about Islam, but rather to teach them about being Muslim.
OUR OBJECTIVE
The primary academic objective of the TIC Weekend school is to introduce and instill the main teachings of Islam into our students. The Weekend School also strives to instill ethical values in the students towards becoming productive and responsible members of our society. We use a very structured approach to teach Islam as a religion, and not as a set of cultural practices.
