FUNERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Tawfiq Islamic Center Funeral Assistance Program provides support and assistance to members and their families during times of bereavement. The program helps ensure funeral arrangements are carried out according to Islamic principles while providing financial and community support.

More Than 12 Weeks: $300

Members have up to 90 days after expiration to renew with applicable late fees. New Member Waiting Period All new members are subject to a 90-day (3-month) waiting period before funeral benefits become active.

Membership Information
Members are responsible for keeping their information current, including:
· Address changes
· Phone number changes
· Email updates
· Family status changes
· Household member updates

Expired Membership
No funeral benefits may be claimed if a member or dependent passes away after membership expiration and before renewal.

Funeral Application

Refund Policy
· Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of enrollment.
· No refunds will be issued after 30 days.

Coverage Area
Included:
· Funeral assistance and coordination
· Burial services at Burnsville Cemetery

Not Included:
· Transportation costs outside the Twin Cities metropolitan area
· Services outside the program coverage area
